


8-week Mindfulness and Gentle Movement Series DATES TBD

This 8 week series combines evidence-based mindfulness practices with gentle movement and meditation. Mindfulness is a non-judgemental way of paying attention in the present moment with compassion. Mindfulness-based practices help participants learn how to respond to life in skillful ways and has been shown to reduce anxiety, stress, depression and rumination. These classes are educational, experiential and teach valuable skills but they are not psychotherapy.
The movement portion of the class will include exploration of felt sensation through gentle movement (participants will need to be able to get up and down off the floor easily) and breath practices. If you have any questions whether this series would be a good fit for you, please feel free to send an inquiry.
Unfortunately, this program cannot be covered by insurance. The facilitator will NOT be completing a full biopsychosocial assessment with participants, will not provided a mental health diagnosis and the group is not considered psychotherapy.
